SUNOCO ALUMNI
Membership - Membership to DVSA is open to all alumni of Sunoco. You do not have to be a retiree to join. If you ever worked at Sunoco, we welcome you to join! The benefits are many. Most of all there is the fellowship involved in keeping up with and meeting your former co-workers and friends from Sunoco at one of our three annual events. Membership allows you to get a password so you can login to website pages restricted to members only. We are an organization of giving. You can see below the types of work we are involved in. We publish three newsletters per year. Our website has news and benefits information that is valuable to all Sunoco alumni regardless of where they live. Membership dues is just $15 per year. Giving - Food Cupboard - Through this long established program of DVSA, we contribute to local food programs that feed the needy. Each year we give $750 to several local charitable groups nominated by DVSA members. Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospital - Each December we reach out to these special organizations. News, Benefits - News about Sunoco Alumni is published on our website. | Events Our next luncheon will be on December 9th, 2025. Hope to see you there. The September 9th luncheon was a success. We had 42 people registered. Fred Schmauk ran the meeting. Our guest speaker was Joe Fratinardo from the West Chester food cupboard and he talked about how they help to feed those in the community who need it. He spoke about where donations come from, their facility where they store food and have a store for people to select the food they need. He thanked DVSA for our contribution. We have money in our food pantry budget so if you have a favorite food pantry fill out the form under donations in the menu and the board will review your recommendation. Our luncheons provide a great way to stay in touch with our Sunoco friends! The luncheons are three times per year and are held at Springfield Country Club on Sproul Road, just off Route 1 in Delaware County, PA. Luncheons include time before and after to socialize, a sit down lunch, and a sometimes a speaker of interest to members. These events are really about the social opportunity to see old friends and co-workers. Click here for this year's luncheon and party dates.
